Irene Lopez Leon is a Barcelona based artist creating intricate designs both in the studio as well as on the streets, as she in her own words “paints every surface she can find.” The artist describes her work as landscape painting, but Lopez Leon’s work also invites the viewer to a dreamlike surrounding with her use of geometric shapes and neon colours. Lopez Leon has explained that her imaginative art is influenced by artist Wassily Kandinsky and psychologist Carl Jung amongst many others.
